We hold monthly PTO meetings during the school year. In addition to parents, every meeting is attended by one or more BHS administrators and students. Typically, Principal Reggio provides her State of the School Update, a representative from the student council keeps us informed of their activities, we get the district-level news from members of the school board, and then we plan ways for parents to help. We recognize that our teachers and administrators are at the heart of what makes Brandywine High School great. We appreciate their dedication and commitment to excellence. As a small token of our appreciation, we generally host three teacher appreciation luncheons during the year, one prior to the first week of classes, the second during midterms, and the last as the school year ends. Each of the four class years in our high school has a class parent group, which plays a vital role in facilitating and fundraising for extracurricular activities like the after prom party.
